Backpacking, skiing and nature photography
I write Kotlin for a living. The rest of the time I'm out with a pack on — trails, ski slopes, and a plan to be somewhere new by morning. Mostly the North Atlantic, as it turns out: cliffs, waterfalls, and weather that ruins half the plans. Some of it shot from the ground and some from a drone, depending on what the day allows. Home base is Tirana. Tap anything to open it.
Azores, Portugal
Five islands' worth of waterfalls, tea terraces and cliff road.
Finland — Lapland
Short days, floodlit pistes, and a lot of snow on the trees.
Lofoten, Norway
Beaches that have no business being that colour this far north.
Iceland
Black sand, green canyons, weather that changes its mind hourly.
Svalbard
78° north. Polar bear signs at the edge of town.
Faroe Islands
The best cliffs on the list, and the worst weather to shoot them in.
Tenerife
Pine forest at altitude, surf at the bottom of the cliff.
Madeira
Stairs cut into a ridge, and a very long way down either side.
Me
This is me — the ones I am in, rather than the ones I took.
More of it, as it happens, on Instagram.
